Our ongoing commitment to accessible design
GenerationHome is built for families that include older adults and people with disabilities, so accessibility is a product requirement, not an afterthought. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators
- Labeled form fields, grouped questions, and inline error messages announced to screen readers
- Text contrast targeted at 4.5:1 or better, with tap targets at least 44 pixels
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
Known limitations
Some builder-supplied floor plan diagrams are images without text equivalents. If you need details from a diagram in another format, contact us and we will provide them.
